Computer Buildout Process

  1. Run Windows Installer
  2. Go through setup without network
  3. Create LocalAdmin Account – PTAdmin or CompanyAdmin
  4. Set Computer Name: INITIALS-<SerialNumber>
    1. Get Serial Number: wmic bios get serialnumber
      hostname
      WMIC computersystem where caption=”DESKTOP-CK9M05C” rename “WCC-H”
  5. Install Miradore
    1. navigate to “Settings” -> “Accounts” -> “Access work or school” -> “Enroll only in device management.”
      Ensure that the enrollment username (baogXX@online.miradore.com) in the email address field is correct and proceed to the next step.
  6. Setup User
    1. Give User LocalAdmin Rights
  7. Office365
  8. RemoteAssist
  9. Install Mircosoft Teams
  10.  XRun
    1. Disable Win11
  11. XMalwareBytes
  12. Install HEIC
  13. Setup Outlook
    1. Email
    2. Calendar – Permissions and Preload Users
    3. Signature
    4. Shared Mailbox Deleted Items Reg Key
      1. ALT
    5. Shared Maillbox Sent Items Reg Key
      1. ALT
  14. Setup Dropbox
    1. Chrome and Dropbox Installer
    2. Open Dropbox in File Explorer
  15. Set Google Chrome as Default
  16. Set Adobe Reader as Default
    1. Adobe Reader
  17. Verify Time and Time Zone is correct
  18. Run BIOS/Drivers Updates
